Screening tests for you and your baby

Lincolnshire County Council

From the County Council website you can register or re-register a birth, correct a registration, book a civil naming ceremony or apply for a birth certificate.

You can also find one of the 48 county children’s centres. You will find each centre provides a variety of services aimed at your family from antenatal care to school readiness.

The mental well-being of women and their families is as important as the physical well-being of the woman and developing baby.

Offer a range of talking therapies tailored to meet your individual needs. They are free of charge, proven to be effective and helpful and provided by experienced and qualified professionals.

Runs a free, confidential helpline for people who are concerned about their drinking, or someone else’s.

Joined up with the NHS Information Service for Parents. Provides an existing health advice service for pregnant women and new mums.

Diabetes UK

Diabetes UK are fighting for a world where diabetes can do no harm. Providing access to crucial information and supporting people experiencing life-changing and potentially fatal complications.

Smoking Cessation

Protecting your baby from tobacco smoke is one of the best things you can do to give your child a healthy start in life. It can be difficult to stop smoking, but it’s never too late to quit.

A strong start will lay the foundation for maximising a child’s future life chances by supporting the development of good mental, physical and emotional well-being.

Lincolnshire Integrated Sexual Health Service

LiSH manage the majority of services and provide outreach services, HIV treatment and care, and community sexual health testing and treatment, together with contraception, chlamydia screening and sexual health promotion initiatives.

Support Services


 The largest charity funding research into the causes of miscarriage, stillbirth and premature birth. We also provide information for parents-to-be to help them have a healthy pregnancy and baby.

Kicks Count

Kicks Count aims to reduce the UK’s shockingly high stillbirth and neonatal death rate by raising awareness of baby’s movements.

The Lullaby Trust

The Lullaby Trust provides emotional support for bereaved families, promotes expert advice on safer baby sleep and raises awareness of sudden infant death.

MAMA Academy

This service aims to empower all maternity professionals and expectant parents on stillbirth prevention methods to help more babies arrive safely.


Tamba has lots of tips and information about what to expect while you are pregnant. If you are already a parent to twins or more they have lots of useful information, from breastfeeding advice to information about schooling.


Bliss’ vision is that every baby born premature or sick in the UK has the best chance of survival and quality of life.

East Midlands Neonatal Operational Delivery Network

There are 11 neonatal units within the EMNODN. These units work closely together in order to provide care for babies born within their area who require specialist neonatal services.


You can plan journeys from and to a postcode, postal address, town or village, named station or stop, or point of interest. Great for understanding Lincolnshire’s rural transport links.
